dr. david layzell:
new executive director at isee
Dr. David Layzell has been appointed to the position of Executive Director for the Institute of Sustainable Energy, Environment and Economy (ISEEE) at the University of Calgary (effective July 1, 2008).
In preparation for the transition, he will be stepping down from the GCN Board of Directors. Dr. Layzell will also be passing the leadership responsibility for Project 1f to Dr. Zhongmin Dong at St Mary's University, although he will continue to be associated with Project 1f as a research collaborator.
The GCN would like to thank Dr. Layzell for his service and contributions as a Board member and Project leader, and we wish him all the best in his new position.
